Subsequently,  a “Homecoming Fete: A night of nostalgia, music and food”  was organised at the Covenant Hall  on 12 March 2016. This was an official declaration of the CHSSAA  to the gathering and for the alumni to kickstart its functioning. It was indeed a heartwarming response by the alumni . With the 50th Anniversary looming ahead, the next big task was to pick up the enrolment of members from different batches. Though it was challenging, the office bearers managed to collect the membership beginning from the first batch of HSLC 1975.  How do we, the CHSSAA, be a part of the 50th Anniversary  was the agenda in the 2nd Alumni  Annual Meeting on 14 Jan 2017. Other than the participation of some Alumni in the main event, and in  various yearlong  programmes, the CHSSAA decided to contribute to the celebration financially, and hold a special night  exclusively for the alumni  to build up the momentum .
“YESTERYEARS”  was organized on 4th November 2017. It was a night of entertainment , nostalgia, acknowledgement and dinner and  a move from the Grand Finale of the 50th Anniversary the previous evening.
The CHSSAA was overwhelmed by the presence and participation of many alumni at the Grand Finale of the 50th Anniversary and the Alumni night. It  gave a ray of hope to carry forward the  Association’s mission in the days ahead.
